WAVE ID® Plus Surface Mount

The WAVE ID Plus is our most comprehensive solution, maximizing the value of new and existing ID badges by simultaneously processing contactless and proximity smart cards. This dual-frequency card reader performs at the highest technical standards while offering versatility for various applications with the signature ease of use from rf IDEAS. Also available in an SDK-compatible model, it can seamlessly integrate into software or hardware through the use of the rf IDEAS Universal Software Developer's Kit (SDK). This multi-technology reader offers flexibility to any customer, integrator, or end-user dealing with different card technologies. When used with the rf IDEAS Configuration Utility, the WAVE ID Plus also functions as a comprehensive card analyzer for determining compatible readers.

The WAVE ID Plus Surface Mount reader can be mounted almost anywhere and supports enhanced authentication with nearly all proximity and contactless cards worldwide. The reader is available in four card configurations (two are pre-set and two are user-definable) and mounts easily with two screws on a single-gang electrical box. Additionally, it features user-selectable volume control with an optional beeper on/off setting.
