Typically, cash drawers are opened via a receipt printer. When the POS software sends a signal to the printer, it triggers a pulse to open the drawer. But what if you don’t use a receipt printer? That’s where the Glancetron 8005 comes in.

This compact opening module connects directly to the serial or USB port of the cash register. Instead of sending the signal to a printer, the POS software sends it to the 8005 module, which then opens the cash drawer.

Power is supplied via a special slot plate adapter, installed in a slot plate space on the back of the PC. This setup does not occupy an internal slot, ensuring easy installation.
