Bixolon, maker of POS receipts, labels, auto-ID and mobile printers, has certified Koehler Paper's blue Blue4est thermal paper for use with its SRP-380 thermal receipt printer, according to a press release.
Blue4est receipts are fully recyclable and can be disposed of as waste paper.
Another advantage is that the printed information on the receipt will not fade for at least 35 years, supporting archival and documentation purposes.
"A lot of work went into the development of this product, which is unique on the market because it does not use color developers and is therefore fully recyclable," says Katja Frede, thermal paper product manager at Koehler Paper. According to a press release, in Germany Oberkirch.
